Mbouda, le 27–28 August 2026
Humanitarian Response Actions (HURAC) was pleased to participate in the Green Coalition training and establishment/relaunch workshop, held on 27–28 August 2026 at the Mbouda Council, as part of the regional project “Children and Youth as Actors in Environmental and Climate Protection in Schools and Municipalities – EJAPEC.”
The workshop brought together civil society organizations, decentralized public services, local authorities and actors working in the fields of environmental protection, agriculture and child protection. It provided an important platform to strengthen collaboration and promote the right of every child to a healthy environment, while recognizing children and young people as key actors in protecting their communities and the planet. Through interactive sessions and group work, participants strengthened their understanding of environmental protection, children’s rights, active citizenship, the roles and responsibilities of Green Coalition members, as well as action planning and resource mobilization.
Our sincere appreciation to CIPCRE for the invitation and for creating this important space for learning, collaboration and collective action. HURAC remains committed to contributing actively to the Green Coalition and to building communities where children and future generations can thrive in a safe and healthy environment.
Protecting the environment today means protecting the rights and future of our children.
