As part of the PROSCIG Project, funded by the European Union and BMZ, HURAC organized a 2nd Focus Group Discussion with survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Bangangté. This participatory session provided a safe and confidential space where women could share their experiences, challenges, and recommendations regarding access to protection and support services.
The discussion brought together internally displaced women, vulnerable women from host communities, and women from the Bororo community. Through open dialogue, participants identified barriers to accessing services, highlighted priority needs, and proposed solutions to improve the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of assistance for GBV survivors.
At HURAC, we remain committed to promoting survivor-centered approaches, strengthening protection mechanisms, and supporting the socio-economic resilience of women and girls affected by violence.
Together, we can build safer, more inclusive, and more resilient communities.
