NAIROBI, KENYA | HURAC — EPIC-AFRICA CSO FINALIST 2026

From Cameroon to Nairobi, From 6–8 October 2026,

HURAC is bringing the voices of communities and the strength of locally led African civil society to the continental stage.

From 6–8 October 2026, HURAC – Humanitarian Response Actions will participate in the EPIC-Africa / African CSO Platform Festival in Nairobi, Kenya, as a 2026 Finalist.

This recognition is more than an invitation to a continental gathering. It highlights HURAC’s journey, strong community roots, and commitment to vulnerable and underserved populations through initiatives focused on protection, human rights, gender-based violence prevention and response, peace and social cohesion, women’s and youth economic empowerment, education, health, and inclusion.

EPIC-Africa is a pan-African initiative working to strengthen Africa’s civil society ecosystem. Through the African CSO Platform, it helps increase the visibility of African civil society organisations, promotes learning and connections, encourages collaboration, and strengthens recognition of their contribution to the continent’s development.

Being an EPIC-Africa CSO Finalist 2026 provides HURAC with a strategic opportunity to showcase its expertise beyond Cameroon, build new alliances, engage potential partners and funders, learn from other African organisations, and further position HURAC as a credible actor in humanitarian action and sustainable development across Africa.

From the communities we serve in Cameroon to Nairobi, our ambition remains the same: to turn local realities into sustainable solutions and amplify the voices of people too often left at the margins.

Nairobi 2026: HURAC arrives with its experience, its results, its communities, and a distinctly African vision for humanitarian action and sustainable development.
